The classic tale of musical romance continues for Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland, the husband and wife duo behind Whitehorse. One year after their debut, Whitehorse returns in ambitious fashion with The Fate of the World Depends on this Kiss and a date at Massey Hall in 2013.

The honeymoon continues for East Coast nightingale Jenn Grant, who is set to release her third album on Six Shooter Records on September 25, 2012. With The Beautiful Wild, Jenn follows love’s twisted, tangled path deep into the heart’s jungle.

Six Shooter artists are confirmed for several milestone shows in Toronto, including Whitehorse’s debut as headliners at Massey freakin’ Hall (March 2, 2013). As well, Jenn Grant performs with Cuff The Duke (November 24) and Danny Michel with Quique Escamilla (December 8), both on the dreamscape stage of the Winter Garden Theatre (the coolest garden around… get it?).

It’s been more than a year since we released “The Place I Left Behind”, which continues to receive accolades all over the world. The most recent acknowledgement comes from the Americana Music Association, who has offered the Deep Dark Woods a giant feast in their honor.
