In other book-related news, Justin Rutledge heads to Banff this weekend for Wordfest. On Saturday @ 7 pm at the Banff Centre, Justin will appear on a panel with two-time Governal General’s Literary Award winner Guy Vandergaeghe, who will present his latest novel about the end of the Wild West.

As part of the Halifax Pop Explosion, Amelia performs with Symphony Nova Scotia on Oct 21. Next month, she returns to the UK, where she plays London, Winchester, Arlington, Nottingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Gateshead, and even a date in Wales.

So, by now you MUST have heard about Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland joining musical forces to form the unstoppable force of Whitehorse, right?!
