So you all know by now that Amelia Curran is one hell of a songwriter. I am personally fascinated by hearing who has inspired the songwriters I admire, and what their process is, so I’m pretty damn stoked about Amelia’s new video series which covers just that!

So, Interstellar Rodeo isn’t our only festival, ya know! We also put on a rad 6 string focused festival called Sleepwalk Guitar Festival, which, along with truly amazing performances from some of the world’s finest guitar players, also includes a very strong workshop and interview component.

In more exciting news, we are currently running victory laps around our office in celebration of Six Shooter earning two Juno Award nominations this year: one for Amelia Curran‘s “Spectators” in the category of Roots and Traditional (solo) Album of the Year, and the other for Danny Michel‘s “Black Birds are Dancing Over Me” in the category of World Music Album of the Year.

Saturday, April 20 is Record Store Day (4/20 duuuude, Bob Marley picture disc, whuuut?), which is pretty much akin to music nerd Xmas! We love glorious vinyl, and we love independent music retailers, so we’re getting right into the spirit with an exclusive and limited RSD Whitehorse 7”!
