Serena Ryder and William Prince Co-Headline Massey Hall, Apr 1

William Prince and Serena Ryder meet in “Sing Me A Song,” a tender duet that conveys purest feelings in powerful simplicity. Movie scene ready, the song’s gentle magic flows from the back-and-forth basics of emotional reciprocity: honesty, trust and attentiveness.

“‘Sing Me a Song’ plays out like a candle on the table,” writes Prince. “Classic and warm. Luminescent but never intrusive. It invites the quiet that happens in between the words of people truly connecting.” “Simplicity without judgment,” adds Ryder. “This song is the perfect cure for a busy mind and tired heart.”

The surprise track cements a growing friendship and collaboration that finds the two artists in perfect balance and mutual respect. In 2021, Prince invited Ryder to join him for "The Spark" as part of the JUNO Awards broadcast, and later that year she returned the favour, as they performed together during Canada's Walk of Fame awards ceremony. The song precedes a stop at Massey Hall on April 1, where both will share the bill.
