MARTIN TIELLI
The much-anticipated debut solo album by Martin Tielli (of The Rheostatics) will hit the streets on September 11, with the official CD release party on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th at the HORSESHOE TAVERN.
Titled "We didn't even suspect that he was the poppy salesman," the album features acoustic guitar and voice by Martin Tielli and was produced by the legendary Michael Phillip Wojewoda. Last fall, Martin wrote more than 60 songs in preparation for this record. He made demos of half of them, recorded 20 or so, and chose 11 for the final track list. It's a beautiful record. The album will be available in fine record stores across Canada, and also at www.lodestarmusic.com, www.maplemusic.com, and www.hmv.com.

UP NEXT: The Rheostatics are also releasing an album this fall (in October), called "Night of the Shooting Stars". They will be going on a cross-Canada tour in October with Kevin Hearn (Barenaked Ladies), and in the US in November. Martin might do some opening slots on this tour...maybe, maybe not. We'll see.
Also, Martin's website (www.martintielli.com) will be up soon, and will feature, among a bunch of other stuff, a full-length downloadable song called "The Bridge", which, regrettably (because the song is just beautiful), isn't on the new record. So we thought we'd put it up on the website for you to enjoy.

N.Q. ARBUCKLE
Who can say when Neville's record will actually come out. Some re-mixing still needs to be done, and then there is the question of artwork. Neville has been bounding all over the world, but promises to get it together next month for a possible Christmas release.
